Commander Chuck Ford oversees the Community Engagement Section at the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office which includes the Police Athletic League and its operation. He also oversees other areas in Community Engagement including Crime Prevention, International Affairs, Blight Enforcement, Safety Education, Sheriff’s Watch, and Interagency Coordination.
He has been with JSO for 33 years and worked in many capacities including Patrol, Major Case Investigations, Internal Affairs, Recruitment and Selection and now Community Affairs.
Mr. Ford’s vision for Community Engagement is to look for every opportunity to enhance the relationship between the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and the community they serve.
