Program Description
KHA collaborates with the State Attorney’s Office, Department of Juvenile Justice, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the Public Defender’s Office, The Fourth Circuit Advisory Board and local programs to provide programming for the prevention and intervention of juvenile delinquent behavior. KHA funds one of the only two Evening Reporting Centers in the state, which serves as an alternative to secured detention for youth who have been arrested, providing them with services during peak crime hours in the evenings and Saturdays.
