Junior Achievement will implement JA Work$ program. Junior Achievement’s three pillars are financial literacy, entrepreneurship and workforce readiness. JA Work$ uses the two most practical in its JA Work$ work readiness curriculum. The JA Work$ program takes an already hands-on, experiential learning curricula and applies real world utilization to the experience. Goals: – Be exposed to positive adult role models – Become positive role models for younger students as well as their own peers – Inspire young students – Build confidence, public speaking, presentation and leadership skills Career Skills: – Prepare young people to face the adult world of securing, performing and retaining employment – Learn how to look for a job, write a resume, apply for a job and retain the job – Learn and implement the basic soft skills of the workplace – Add actual experience to their college application or employment application |
