Joe Peppers is a Chicago native and graduated West Point in 2002. During his 9-year military career, he served three tours in Iraq and was awarded a Bronze Star in 2008 for service during the Iraq Surge. During his time in Iraq, Joe worked with the State Department, USAID, and the Iraq government to improve civil services and reduce terrorism in and around Baghdad. He concluded his service as a company commander at the US Army Officer Candidate School in Fort Benning, Georgia.
After leaving the military, Joe worked at Amazon for 3 years working in Operation and Lean 6 Sigma in Continuous Improvement roles helping to launch 3 new facilities across the country. He then went on to work at Apple for two years, where he was a Regional Manager in Distribution Operations leading multiple “New Product Introductions” including the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s.
Joe moved to Florida in 2014 to work for Fanatics, Inc. as a General Manager in one of their manufacturing facilities. Joe returned to Amazon to help launch one of their two Fulfillment Centers in Jacksonville. During Joe’s time as a Jacksonville resident, he has partnered with his church, Southpoint Community Church, to speak with high school students at Raines and Ribault High Schools about the value of education and living a character and value-based life.
Joe started as the Chief Executive Officer of the Kids Hope Alliance in April 2018.
