JCC is now offering free Child I.D.’s to the community as a result of a partnership with New York Life’s Jacksonville General Office. The equipment and materials to run the program were donated to JCC by William Grub, managing partner of New York Life’s Jacksonville General Office.
The Child I.D. program is a national child identification program, which captures critical identification information and provides a copy to the parent or guardian—along with peace of mind in knowing they’ll be prepared, should their child ever go missing.
Families can visit the Jacksonville Children’s Commission to have their children fingerprinted during business hours, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or make an appointment ahead of time by calling (904) 630-7265. Child I.D. events will also be held at JCC periodically throughout the year. Event dates will be posted to www.jaxkids.net, Facebook and Twitter as they are scheduled.
